A new federal grant is funding the scaling and research of high yield / low lift evidence-based literacy strategies for teaching writing in response to your high quality texts. This is not a curriculum but a set of strategies that you use with your own familiar materials and curriculum. Participating schools receive free materials, professional learning and $10,000 stipends, and will be randomly assigned to Year 1 or 2 PD. Preference given to 40% or more to schools that receive f/r lunch. This grant is coordinated by Providence College, American Institutes for Research, and thinkSRSD.
